TERMS & PAYMENT INFORMATION: Our minimum order is $250.00. There will be a $25.00 service charge added to all orders not meeting this minimum. Our terms are NET 30 days on Open accounts. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. As is our policy, we do not charge your credit card until the day the order is shipped. Interest will be charged on past due invoices at 1.5% per month. To establish terms, please provide us with five trade references with complete addresses and account numbers.
FURNITURE FINISHES: All Wicker furniture and lamp items are available in seven distinctive finishes: Antique Red (AR), Antique White (AW), Black (BK), Chestnut (CH), Dawn Sky Blue (LB), Pale Sage (LG) and Dark Walnut Stain (ST). Please note color code indicated for each finish. When ordering, it is most important that you use the appropriate color code for each item.
WICKER COLOR BOARDS: If you wish to have an actual wicker sample, these are available as a set for $15.00, or $1.75 per board. The set will include all seven furniture finishes and a Natural wicker selection. Sample boards are approximately 4" x 4" each, color coded and secured with a leather cord. Please note WCB on your order to receive a set.
SHIPPING INFORMATION: Orders will be shipped Freight Prepaid unless the customer requests otherwise, so that you may take advantage of our discount with the freight carriers. Additional charges which can be assessed by the carrier include: Delivery to a residence @ $65.00, Re-delivery @ $47.50, Self-storage facility @ $55.00, Specific delivery date stated on bill of lading @ $55.00. We do offer drop-ship service to your client, but these freight companies are NOT White Glove service. They will unload the box and leave. Consignee is responsible for unloading, bringing the goods inside and disposal of the carton(s) and packing material.
CUSHIONS: Off-white muslin seat cushions are available for an additional charge and noted with each stock number. Casings for the cushions are zippered and may be hand-washed and hung to dry, or dry-cleaned.
UPHOLSTERY INFORMATION: We provide no upholstery services, however, for your reference in planning your own fabric needs, listed below are the Fabric Yardage requirements for our furniture pieces. Using a plain or small pattern fabric, 54" wide: Sofa = 4 yards total for all 3 cushions, Chair or rocker seat cushion = ¾ yards, Chaise = 3 yards, Large Hall bench = 3 yards, Settee = 3 ½ yards, Ottoman = 1 ½ yards, Small Hall bench = 1 ½ yards If the fabric has a large repeat, 20" or more, add approximately 20% more required fabric.
DIMENSIONS: Furniture dimensions listed are for the overall size of the piece. If you need seat size, please reference their cushion description. Basket dimensions are also for the overall piece, and sizes for pieces in a set are noted.
INDOORS OR OUT?: Pieces are appropriate for indoors, but also can be enjoyed on a covered or screened porch. We do not recommend them for use outdoors in the direct elements without any shelter. However, we offer an acrylic, non-toxic, water-based varnish application that will provide some protection against the elements. This service is available for a small up-charge per piece (see chart). The manufacturer suggests the application should be re-applied every 1½ to 2 years. Even with this application, Mainly Baskets still recommends if they are used outdoors, they should be kept under some form of shelter.

NATURAL: Beginning in June 2007 we began offering our wicker furniture products in the raw state; no top coat, no stain, no finish. Being able to order the pieces in this manner will afford you the opportunity to paint, stain or varnish the pieces in any color of your choosing. (A non-toxic sealer coat is applied at the factory so that paint or stain does not soak through to the core of the wicker and rattan.) Our factory uses only Grade "A" White Wicker for our Natural product line. This grade is earned because of the lack of blemishes in the wicker or rattan. Due to the labor costs of hand picking only color-consistent pieces of wicker and rattan for these raw pieces, the cost of a natural piece is the same as one of our finished items. Shipping time for these pieces will be 10 to 12 weeks. We have also discovered over the last year a number of customers seeking "green" products not only to support the environment but also due to allergies and other medical conditions of clients. The wicker used in this line is a vine and is grown specifically for the furniture industry. It is also classified as a sustainable forest product because the root is never harvested. By having this line of Natural products in our wicker furniture, we are able to support our environment and offer those individuals with serious allergic and skin conditions an alternative in their home furnishings.
CUSTOM ORDERS: We began our venture offering wicker furniture in 1992. Several years ago we quietly "behind the scenes" began partnering with design professionals, interior decorators and specialty stores to create one-of-a-kind custom wicker furniture for exclusive clientele and projects. We are now excited to offer this service on a larger scale to all our customers. For a nominal, and proportional up charge, any of our wicker chairs can be made into a rocking chair, settee, sofa or chaise lounge. We can custom size any of our tables to suit your specific requirements or work with you in revising our styles or your designs to produce furniture or basketry for a custom project. Custom projects take more time and effort to create a rewarding end product so we ask for a minimum three month lead time once designs are finalized and a purchase order with 50% deposit are received. We will accept custom furniture orders that have a three piece minimum. We consider a three piece order any combination of three items or three pieces of the same item. The exception to this piece minimum would be one piece of a custom sofa or dining table. Any custom basket order requires a 25 piece minimum order.
